BISCOTTI 
6 eggs
1 stick butter, soft
6 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. oil
2/3 c. sugar (granulated)
2 tsp. anise flavoring
3 c. flour

Combine eggs, sugar, oil and butter; mix well. Add anise, baking powder and flour. Mix well, grease cookie sheets. Shape into 2 long loaves and bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool and frost. After completely cooled, cut into long strips.

FROSTING: Mix milk, anise flavor and confectionery sugar. Add sugar until you get the consistency of a slightly thick runny icing. After frosting loaves, sprinkle with colored non-parels or for Christmas, sprinkle with red and/or colored sugar.
