10 c. sugar
2 1.2 c. warm or hot water
1 tsp. alum
66 clover blossoms

Mix sugar, water and alum very well and bring to boil. Boil for 10 minutes over a medium heat. Do not stir. Remove from heat. Drop in the clover blossoms and let stand for 10 minutes. Strain and pour into jars. Makes about 4 pints.
