OAT PANCAKES 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. oats
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 c. milk
2 tsp. butter
2 tsp. baking powder

Beat egg with milk. Combine with dry ingredients. Melt butter and stir into batter. Pour 1/3 cup batter on hot griddle for each cake. Add butter to griddle as needed. Cook until bubbles form and hold and the cake is light brown. Turn. Brown other side. Makes 6 cakes. Serve with warm maple syrup and butter.
