YAM APPLE PIE 
3 med. cooking apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tbsp. molasses
1/2 c. butter, cut into pieces
1 (8 oz.) can sweet potatoes drained
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Place flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and butter in processor bowl. Process at high speed to blend until crumbly.

Remove 3/4 cup of mixture and reserve for topping add sweet potatoes and lemon juice to remaining crumbs and process at high.

Spread mixture on bottom and sides of ungreased pie pan to form shell. Place apples in crust and sprinkle nuts over top. Drizzle with molasses. Sprinkle with crumb mixture on top. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes.
