DIVINITY CANDY 
2 c. sugar
2/3 c. white Karo
1/3 c. hot water
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
Whites of 2 eggs
Few grains of salt

Beat egg whites, boil sugar, syrup and water to hard ball stage; add salt to egg whites. Pour boiled mixture over eggs, beating constantly. Add nuts, stir until thick and creamy. Pour into buttered dish and cut in squares or drop on a buttered plate.
