ICE BOX PICKLES 
1 qt. vinegar
6 c. sugar
1/4 c. Kosher salt
1 1/2 tsp. tumeric
1 1/3 tsp. mustard seed
1 1/2 tsp. celery seed

Warm until sugar is dissolved. In jars, add cucumbers and sliced green peppers (optional).

Pour juice over cucumbers and onions and let stand in refrigerator for 3 days before enjoying.
