TACO CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
3/4 c. chopped onion
1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. Old El Paso taco seasoning mix
3/4 c. water
1 (16 oz.) can Old El Paso refried beans
1 (8 oz.) jar Old El Paso taco sauce
1 (7 1/2 oz.) Old El Paso Nachips tortilla chips, crushed
2 c. (8 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese, divided usage

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a medium skillet, cook ground beef and onion until meat is browned; drain fat. Add taco seasoning mix and water and simmer, uncovered for 20 minutes.

In a medium bowl, combine refried beans and taco sauce. Layer half of the bean mixture in an 8" square baking dish. Top with half of meat mixture, 2 cups Nachips and 1 cup cheese. Layer remaining bean mixture and meat mixture. Bake for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and top with remaining tortilla chips and cheese. Bake until cheese is melted. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
