SHERRY POUND CAKE | |
1 c. pecans or walnuts, chopped 1 vanilla instant pudding 1 yellow cake mix 1/2 c. oil 4 eggs 1 c. cream sherry 1 c. powdered sugar 2 tbsp. cream sherry Place chopped nuts in bottom of greased pan. Mix together pudding, cake mix, oil, eggs and 1 cup cream sherry; beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 40 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes and then invert onto rack. Glaze with powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons cream sherry while warm. |
