SWEDISH MEATBALLS 
1 lb. ground chuck
1/2 lb. ground pork
2 slices stale bread soaked in milk
1 egg
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 can onion soup
Butter
1 med. onion, chopped
Salt & pepper
1 can mushroom soup or 1/2 c. sour cream

Place first 6 ingredients and half the onion soup in large bowl; mix well. Saute onion until golden brown. Add onion to meat mixture. Form into small balls; brown in butter. Place in saucepan; add remaining onion soup and seasonings. Cook over low heat for about 1 hour. Add water or soup stock to meatballs if necessary. Add mushroom soup; heat.
