STRAWBERRY FREEZER JAM 
3 c. crushed strawberries
1 pkg. (1 3/4 oz.) powdered pectin
5 c. sugar
1 c. water

Prepare freezer jars according to manufacturer's instructions. place crushed berries in a large mixing bowl. Add sugar, mix well and let stand 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Combine pectin and water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil 1 minute. Add pectin to strawberries and sugar and stir 3 minutes. Gradually pour into freezer jars, one at a time, leaving 1/2 inch head space. Wipe jar rim clean. Place lid on and screw band down evenly and firmly. Repeat for each jar. let stand for 24 hours; then store in freezer. Yields about seven 8 ounce jars.
