STRAWBERRY FREEZER JAM 
2 c. mashed strawberries (about 1 qt.)
4 c. sugar
1 (1 3/4 oz.) box powdered pectin
3/4 c. water

Combine strawberries and sugar. Mix thoroughly, be sure to measure sugar exactly to set properly. Set mixture aside. In saucepan, combine pectin and water. Bring to a boil, boil for one minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and combine with strawberry mixture. Stir until sugar is completely dissolved and no longer grainy. Pour into clean and dry freezer safe containers, filling to 1/2 inch from top. Cover with tight lids. Let stand at room temperature overnight. Store in freezer.

Makes 4 (8 ounce) containers.
