MARINATED SLAW 
1 lg. cabbage
1 med. onion
1 green pepper

SAUCE:

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. salt

Grate cabbage, finely chop onion and pepper. Combine sauce ingredients and heat to boiling. Cool and pour over cabbage mixture and let marinate at least 4 hours or overnight before serving. Lasts in refrigerator 2 weeks.
