PEAR RELISH 
1 peck of pears in juice (about 28 med. pears)
6 bell peppers: 3 red and 3 green
2 lbs. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
10 datil peppers
5 med. onions
5 c. vinegar
3/4 tbsp. turmeric

Put pears, onions, peppers through a food processor; coarse ground. Add other ingredients. Bring to a boil and cook for 30 minutes. Makes 16 pints.
