CHINESE BEEF AND RICE 
2/3 c. rice
2 tsp. vegetable oil
1 1/2 c. boiling water
2 tsp. soy sauce
1 med. onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 1/2 c. sliced cooked beef or hamburger

Cook rice in hot oil over medium heat until golden brown. Add salt, water, bouillon cube and soy sauce. Cover, simmer 10 minutes or more. (If necessary add a little more water.) All water should be absorbed at end of cooking time. Makes 2 generous servings.
