BAD RICE | |
1 lb. chicken livers, chopped 1 lb. chicken gizzards, chopped 1 lb. beef or pork sausage 1/2 c. butter 1 c. chopped onion 1/2 c. chopped celery 1 bunch green onion, chopped 2 tbsp. chopped parsley 1 clove garlic, minced 1/2 tsp. thyme 1/2 tsp. basil 3 c. cooked rice Salt and pepper to taste Hot pepper to taste 1 can chicken broth Saute chicken liver, gizzards and sausage in skillet, then set aside. Melt butter in skillet. Add onion, celery, green onion, parsley, garlic, thyme and basil. Put all together with rice. Serving for 8. |
