1 c. creamed corn
1 c. cornmeal
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 tbsp. beer
1/4 sm. bell pepper, chopped
Chopped green onion

Mix ingredients until you have a good thick consistency, adding more cornmeal or flour if needed. Drop by tablespoon into deep, hot fat until golden brown; drain.
