HOT COLE SLAW 
2 c. cabbage

DRESSING:

1/4 c. white vinegar
1 egg
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. sour cream

Chop cabbage; lightly salt and pepper. Set aside. Beat egg; add sour cream, and mix well. Combine vinegar and sugar; heat to boiling, then add all the egg and sour cream mixture suddenly, stirring very rapidly (to prevent curdling). Boil briefly until thickened. Pour at once over cabbage and mix.
