ZUCCHINI SQUASH CASSEROLE 
1/4 c. water
4 c. diced squash
1 c. onion, diced

Cook until tender, drain and cool.

Add:

2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 egg, beaten well

Mix ingredients and pour into buttered casserole (2 quart size) dish.

Top with:

1 c. coarse soda cracker crumbs
3 tbsp. butter

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
