BANANA NUT BREAD 
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
3 ripe bananas
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. pecans, chopped

Cream butter and sugar. Add mashed bananas, eggs and flour. Stir in nuts. Bake about 35-40 minutes at 325 degrees or until brown. Cool on rack before slicing.

GLAZE:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tsp. butter flavoring, optional

Combine sugar, water and flavoring in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Pour over baked cake.
