ITALIAN ANGEL WINGS 
8 egg yolks
1 c. sour cream
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. anise (vanilla or rum)
1/4 tsp. salt
3 c. flour
Powdered sugar

Mix yolks, sour cream, sugar, flavoring and salt in large bowl. Mix in flour, batter will become dough-like. Knead dough until smooth but not sticky (more flour may be needed). Divide dough into 2 or 3 parts. On a floured surface roll out each section until very thin, almost transparent. Cut dough into strips or triangles. Deep fry each cookie until lightly golden brown, drain on paper towel and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Eat as soon as possible. Will not keep in humid weather.
