1 lg. pkg. dates
1/8 lb. sweet butter
6 eggs
4 tsp. baking powder
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar, little less
2 c. nut meats

Beat eggs, add sugar and blend well. Add dates, (pitted) and butter. Add flour and blend well. Pour into greased and floured deep cookie sheet and bake.

NOTE: Use large cookie sheet, larger than 9 x 12 inch.
