HERBED SALMON SPREAD 
1 (8 oz.) carton plain yogurt (lowfat or nonfat)
2 (6 oz.) cans salmon or 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can salmon, packed in water, drained
1 tbsp. minced fresh parsley
1 tbsp. minced green onion
1 tbsp. reduced calorie mayonnaise
1/4 tsp. dried whole dill weed
1/4 tsp. dried whole thyme
1/8 tsp. salt
1-2 tsp. lemon juice
Crackers

Spoon yogurt onto several layers of pepper towels. Spread yogurt evenly to 1/2 inch thickness. Cover yogurt with more paper towels. Let stand 5 minutes.

With rubber spatula, scoop yogurt into medium bowl. Add salmon and next 7 ingredients. Stir well. Cover and chill. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slice, if desired. Serve with crackers. Yield: 1 1/2 cups spread.
