LINGUINE WITH BACON AND PEPPERS 
8 slices bacon, diced
1 med. onion, sliced
2 med. green or red peppers, sliced in thin strips
1/2 c. sliced almonds
1 (1 lb.) pkg. linguine, uncooked
Grated Parmesan cheese

Cook bacon until crisp. Remove from pan, set aside. Drain all but 1/4 cup bacon drippings. Add onion, peppers, and almonds, stir-fry just until tender crisp.

Prepare linguine according to package directions; drain. Toss together linguine, bacon and vegetables. Serve immediately. Pass the Parmesan cheese. Refrigerate leftovers. 6 servings.
