CINDY'S MILLION-DOLLAR COOKIES | |
2 c. butter 2 c. brown sugar 2 tbsp. vanilla 3 c. oatmeal flour 1 tsp. baking powder 24 oz. chocolate chips 3 c. chopped nuts 2 c. white sugar 4 eggs 4 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 2 tsp. baking soda 1 (8 oz.) grated Hershey bar Mix the melted butter with the white and brown sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Combine wheat flour with oatmeal flour, which is made by whizzing dry oatmeal in the blender, with the salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Stir the wet and dry ingredients together. Fold the grated Hershey bar, chocolate chips, and chopped nuts into the batter. Roll the batter into 2-inch balls and place on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 6 minutes in a 375 degree oven. Do not over bake, these cookies will be soft. Yield: about 9 dozen. |
