HUNGARIAN GOULASH | |
2 1/2 lbs. beef round steak, cut in 1/2 inch cubes 1 c. onion, chopped 1 clove garlic, minced 1/4 c. flour 1 1/2 tbsp. paprika Salt & pepper 1/4 tsp. thyme 2 bay leaves 1 (#2 1/2) can (3 1/2 c.) tomatoes 1 c. sour cream Brown meat in little oil. Add onions and garlic; cook onion until tender. Blend in flour and seasonings. Add tomatoes. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally until meat is tender, about 1 hour. Stir often. At end of cooking stir in sour cream. Serve over hot noodles. |
