PUMPKIN COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. pumpkin
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. nuts

Blend butter, sugar, and egg well. Add pumpkin. Continue to blend. Add flour, soda, and cinnamon; mix well. Stir in nuts. Bake on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. About 3 dozen cookies.

FROSTING:

3 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. milk
1/2 c. brown sugar

Boil above together until nice rolling boil, add 1 to 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon vanilla. Beat well with mixer. Frost cookies while still warm, if frosting becomes to stiff; add a little milk and stir.
