2 lb. ground round 1 med. onion, chopped 12 oz. Heinz Chili Sauce 2 tbsp. flour 4 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/4 c. catsup 1 tbsp. vinegar 1/2 c. brown sugar 2 tbsp. mustard Brown meat and onions in a large fry pan. Add other ingredients as listed. Simmer and stir until done, about 20 minutes. | |

This is the best recipe I've found... I added chopped celery. My husband says it's just like his mom used to make... next time I'm adding grated carrots. Always look for the secret ingredient to a sloppy joe mix... vinegar... also the secret in banana bread... the difference between dry & moist.

Absolutely delish!! I use ground turkey instead of round and even my husband who hates ground turkey said he can't tell the difference. He would have this twice a week if he could.
