BISCUIT MIX 
10 c. flour
1/3 c. baking powder
1 2/3 c. shortening
1 2/3 c. powdered milk
2 1/2 tsp. salt

Mix dry ingredients well. Cut in shortening, and mix to the texture of fine meal. Store tightly in a covered container. Use within 3 months.

PANCAKES:

3 c. mix
1 1/2 c. water
1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
2 eggs

Mix together but do not beat. Bake on hot griddle.

PIZZA DOUGH (12 inch circle):

1 1/2 c. mix
1/4 c. water

Knead 15 times. pat into pan and bake 6 minutes. Add fillings and bake an additional 15 minutes at 425 degrees.

BISCUITS:

3 c. mix
2/3 c. water

Mix completely, roll, cut, place on greased baking sheet and bake at 425 degrees 10 to 12 minutes. Yields: 16.

DUMPLINGS:

1 1/2 c. mix
1/2 c. water

Mix together, drop by teaspoons into boiling broth. Cover tightly and cook (without peeking) approximately 12 minutes.
