HOT GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
5 or 6 lg. potatoes
8 slices bacon
1 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1/3 c. vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery seed
Dash of black pepper
3/4 c. water

Boil potatoes in skins. Fry bacon crisply and remove. In drippings saute onions. Blend flour, sugar, salt, pepper and celery seed. Stir until smooth. Add water and vinegar, bring to bubble. Remove from heat. Peel potatoes, add potatoes and crumbled bacon, mix well and serve.
