4 English muffins 1/2 tsp. basil 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1/4 lb. Mozzarella cheese, grated 1/2 tsp. oregano 16 slices of salami or pepperoni Parmesan cheese, grated Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Carefully split the English muffins in half. Place on a cookie sheet so that they don't touch each other. Open the tomato sauce and pour into a bowl and add oregano and basil and stir. Grate the cheese. Spread 1 to 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce mixture evenly on each of the muffin halves. Put two pieces of salami or pepperoni (or both) on each muffin. Sprinkle the Mozzarella cheese on all the muffins. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on it also. Bake in oven until the cheese melts (about 15 to 20 minutes). Cool for a few minutes before you eat. |
