CHEESE CAKE 
2/3 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs

Cream 2/3 cup sugar with 8 oz. cream cheese until very light and fluffy. Add 1/2 cup sour cream, 1 teaspoon vanilla. Mix well, add 1 egg beat well add second egg beat well, set aside.

STEP 2:
1 stick butter
2/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

TOPPING:

1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. sugar

Step 2: Cream 1/2 cup butter (1 stick) and 2/3 cup sugar until light and fluffy, add 2 eggs, 1 at a time, 1 teaspoon vanilla. Sift together 1 cup flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt. Add gradually to mixture. Spread dough in bottom and thinly up sides of (10 inch glass) pie pan, pour cheese mixture on top of dough. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 or 45 minutes.

In small bowl mix topping together 1 cup sour cream, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 tablespoons sugar. Spread on top of cake. Return to oven 5 minutes. Chill several hours.
