BUCKEYES 
1 1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
16 oz. powdered sugar
6 oz. chocolate chips
1 tbsp. Crisco

Mix together peanut butter, butter, vanilla and sugar. This will be thick. Roll into small balls, about 2 teaspoons each. Place on cookie sheet lined with waxed paper. Chill thoroughly.

In double boiler melt chocolate with Crisco. Dip balls into chocolate, leaving a small amount uncovered to resemble a buckeye and return to waxed paper and chill.
