SCHNITZEL BEANS 
2 cans (2 lb.) green beans (drained)
4 slices bacon
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1 sm. onion (chopped)

Fry chopped bacon and onion together until brown. Add sugar and vinegar to bacon and fat. Cook until sugar is dissolved. Add green beans; simmer about 20 minutes.
