2 lbs. stew meat 1/2 can tomato juice 2 tbsp. tapioca 1 tbsp. sugar 2 tsp. salt 6 carrots, sliced 1 or 2 stalks celery, diced 1 lg. onion, quartered (or sliced) Tomato soup can also be added to above ingredients for different flavor) Mix together. Put in small roaster and cover tightly with foil. Bake in slow oven (250 to 300 degrees) for 4 hours. Serve with mashed potatoes, noodles or rice. |
