SHRIMP JAMBALAYA 
1 qt. shrimp
1 1/2 c. rice
1 stick butter

Peel and devein shrimp. Wash and put in enough water to cook rice done. Start shrimp cooking on low heat. Put rice in skillet with the butter and brown; then put in with the shrimp. Put in 4 or 5 shells of garlic; salt and pepper to taste. If rice is not done when water is cooked out, add a little more hot water.
