CHICKEN AND BROCCOLI IN CREAM
SAUCE
 
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen broccoli spears
1/4 c. butter
6 tbsp. all-purpose flour
2 c. chicken broth
1/2 c. whipping cream
3 tbsp. dry white wine
3 chicken breasts, halved and cooked
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper

Bake or fry chicken until done. Cook broccoli using package directions; drain. Melt butter; blend in flour, salt, and pepper. Add chicken broth; cook and stir until mixture thickens and bubbles. Stir in cream and wine. Place chicken in baking dish. Put broccoli crosswise over chicken. Pour the sauce over the chicken and broccoli. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until baked through. Serves 6.
