PINTO BEAN PIE 
1 c. cooked, drained, mashed pinto beans, not mushy
1 c. sugar
1 c. dark syrup
4 eggs, well beaten
1 stick butter
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs and syrup. Mix well. Stir in beans and vanilla. Pour in unbaked pie shell. Bake 1 hour at 375 degrees.
