BUTTERSCOTCH CRISPIES 
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 c. shortening (2 sticks butter)
2 c. Quick cook oats
1 c. nuts

Combine all ingredients. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
