BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 1/2 lbs. sirloin steak
1 stick butter
3/4 lb. mushrooms, sliced
1 sm. onion, sliced
1 can beef consomme
1/2 pt. sour cream
Paprika

Thinly slice sirloin steak. Toss steak with flour, salt and pepper just enough to coat meat. Saute meat in 1/2 stick butter. Remove meat when done. In same pan, saute mushrooms and onions in other 1/2 stick butter for 5 minutes.

Combine meat, mushrooms and onions. Add can of beef consomme. Simmer until tender. Add 1/2 pint of sour cream and dash of paprika. Heat thoroughly. Serve over rice or noodles.
