DOGS IN A BLANKET 
4 hot dogs
2 slices of cheese
2 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. butter
3/4 c. milk

Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender. Add milk to form soft dough. Knead about 20 turns. Divide into 4 equal pieces. Roll out into oblong a little longer than hot dog and wide enough to overlap the sides.

Split the hot dogs lengthwise almost all the way through. Cut each slice of cheese in 4 long pieces and put 2 in each dog. Bring up sides and ends of dough and seal the seams. Bake at 450 degrees about 15 minutes until dough is lightly browned.
