FROZEN COLE SLAW | |
1 med. head cabbage, chopped or shredded 1 tsp. salt. 3 stalks celery, chopped 1/2 green pepper, diced 1 c. white vinegar 1/2 c. water 2 c. sugar 1 tsp. each celery seed & mustard seed Sprinkle salt over cabbage and let stand 1 hour. Squeeze out liquid, mix cabbage, celery and pepper, mix remaining ingredients together and bring to a boil. Pour over cabbage mixture and freeze. This cole slaw is crisp and fresh when thawed. |
