TEA CAKES 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp. thick buttermilk
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Enough flour to make a stiff dough

Cream butter and sugar together, add eggs. Sift soda and salt and baking powder with one cup of flour. Add flour to make a stiff dough. Roll out and cut. Cook at 350 degrees to 400 degrees until brown.
