SWEET AND SOUR MEATBALLS 
2 lb. hamburger
2 eggs
Bread crumbs
1 can jellied cranberry sauce
1 can tomato paste, med. size
Sugar
Lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Water
1 tbsp. minced garlic
2 tbsp. minced, dried onions
1 tbsp. dried basil

Combine hamburger, eggs, 1 1/2 cups water, and bread crumbs. Mix well and roll into small meatballs. Place in 2 small brownie-size pans (8-10). Pour sauce over meatballs and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees; baste often.

Serve as appetizer or as main meal over rice.

SAUCE: In a saucepan mash the jellied cranberry sauce while heating. Add the tomato and 1 can additional water. Add the minced garlic, minced onions, and dried basil; simmer a few minutes. Add the sugar, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.
