QUICK STIR FRY | |
1-2 lbs. beef or chicken 3 carrots, sliced 1 onion, sliced 1 c. broccoli, cut up 1-2 green peppers, sliced thin 1 (8 oz.) bottle fat free Italian salad dressing 1 c. cooked white rice Place a small amount of Italian dressing in a frying pan (electric if you have it or a wok). Stir fry meat, remove from pan. Add more Italian dressing, and stir fry carrots; when carrots are partially cooked, add broccoli. When broccoli is partially cooked, add peppers, and then the onions. Vegetables should remain somewhat crispy. Add more salad dressing and the rice, mixing all together along with meat and then serve. Serves 5. Cooking time: 10 minutes. Preparation time: 10 minutes. |
