HOMEMADE BISCUITS | |
3 c. self-rising flour 2/3 c. Crisco oil or other shortening 2 tbsp. sugar 1 c. buttermilk Mix in bowl with spoon and have some flour in a plate, drop a spoonful in the dry flour and roll it to keep it from sticking to your hand and put them in a greased pan and pat them out about 1/2 inch thick. Makes about 18 biscuits. Bake in oven at 400 degrees about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. |
