GOLDEN CAKE WITH LEMON FILLING | |
1 c. butter 2 c. sugar 3 c. flour 5 eggs 1 c. milk 3 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. lemon flavor Cream sugar and butter. Alternate with flour and milk. After all flour and milk has been added, add eggs and flour. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. LEMON FILLING: Mix: 4 tbsp. butter Dash of salt 3 tbsp. lemon juice The grated rind of 1 lemon Add 1/4 cup milk as needed. Mix until smooth. Spread filling between layer. |
