CROCK POT PEPPER STEAK | |
2 lb. Round steak 1/4 c. soy sauce 1 c. chopped onion 1 clove garlic, minced 1 tsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. ground ginger 1- 14 1/2 oz. can diced tomatoes, undrained 2 large bell peppers, cut in strips 1 tbsp. cornstarch 1/2 c. cold water Cooked noodles or rice (your choice) Brown round steak strips. Combine browned steak with soy sauce, onion, garlic, sugar, salt, pepper and ginger in a crock pot. Cover and cook on low 5 to 6 hours or until meat is tender. Add tomatoes and peppers. Cook on low 1 hour longer. Mix corn starch and water until blended. Add to crock pot. Cook on high until thickened. Serve over noodles or rice. |
