SOUR CREAM DROP COOKIES 
2 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream shortening and sugar. Add beaten eggs. Stir in sour cream and vanilla. Beat well. Add dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Chill at least 1 hour. (Cover batter with cloth.) Drop heaping teaspoon on very lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 425 degrees until delicately brown, about 10 minutes. Makes 5 dozen cookies. Dust with confectioners sugar.
