CREAMY CORN CHOWDER 
6 sm. potatoes, pared and diced into 1 inch cubes
4 c. boiling water
1 tsp. salt
1 med. onion, chopped
4 tbsp. butter
3 1/2 c. fresh corn or 2 (20 oz.) pkgs. of frozen corn
4 tbsp. pimento
4 c. milk
1 c. half and half
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. paprika
Salt and pepper to taste

Cook potatoes in boiling water and salt about 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Saute onions in the butter until tender. When potatoes are cooked, stir in onion, corn, pimento, milk, half and half, brown sugar, paprika, salt and pepper. Simmer 20 to 30 minutes until soup is slightly thickened. Serves 8.
