DUTCH APPLE PIE 
Prepare 9 inch pastry. Peel and slice 6 to 8 baking apples. Combine 1 cup sugar and 1/3 cup flour. Sprinkle half of sugar-flour mixture on bottom of pastry. Fill with apples. Cover with rest of sugar-flour mixture.

CRUMB TOPPING:

1 c. flour
1/3 c. sugar
1 stick butter

Mix flour, sugar and butter until crumbly. Pour over apples. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 400 degrees about one hour, or until apples are tender.
